What would happen if I disconnect the ethernet cable from my computer?
I want to use the ethernet cable for my ps3 but my router has only one connection and its connected to the computer. What would happen if i disconnect the ethernet cable of my computer. Would the internet cut off of my computer and start all over with the connection or if I put it back would it stay there and nothing would had happen. I need some help please.
You would lose connection while your computer is unplugged, but you won’t notice any difference when you plug it back in to the computer. You’ll still have Internet just fine.

Nothing will happen except the computer will no longer have access to the network, and the ps3 will.
Switching back and forth should not create any problems.
Your computer will be fine, it will just tell you the cable is disconnected. and once you plug it back in it will be happy again.
