Twice in the last week my computer crashed. I get a blue screen that says something about a memory dump. The last time, it reset the clock to 01/01/2000. Now what’s suddenly causing this and is there a fix? My system is an HP Pavilion 750n running Windows XP home with a 1.6 GHz Pentium 4 processor and around 786 MB RAM.

I have Windows XP . I bought vice city game and installed . But when i clicked it , it is showing that we don’t have enough video memory . How to increase my video memory ? Can i install it from any cds . Or to buy it? From where ? And what is it ? A cd or someother?

Note: I’m interested in FREE ways only. I’m not buying software for this.

thrashaero, thanks! I had no idea I had to have so much empty space on the drive. Mine is almost full, so I guess I won’t do it right now.

I looked in the system tools and nothing in there even suggests the possibility of system restore or defreg. I thought this was stock for windows xp, it’s suppose to already be in there is it not?

I really want to find out how much memory my hard drive has but have no clue how. My computer is from dell and has windows xp. Please help. Thanks.

have a mad slow laptop of 110 MB of memory and I want to add memory via memory flash drives. But Ive heard that every computer has a limit on how much memory you can put into it, so i dont want to go all out and get the biggest memory flash drive not knowing that it wont work afterwards because of the limit. So any suggestions? And by the way, it uses a windows xp service pack 3.

I have pictures, music and videos on a windows 98 that I want to convert on a cd or something. I’ve tried several times but the cd always end up blank. How can I rip off the memory and put it on my newer computer? (windows xp)
