Can I hook up an old Microtek Scanmaker E6 (SCSI flatbed scanner) to my Dell Laptop? If so… how?

The scanner (from 2002 or so) is like new and worked well with my old windows based machine. It does not have a USB on it. On the back it has the SCSI port, a 15 pin female port, and a 25 pin port. My computer docking station has a 25 pin port but it is for the printer. Any Help?

Learn the Best Way to Update Drivers With One Click of a Button

If you’ve been wondering how to keep on top of all your device driver updates, look no further.

It can be so frustrating keeping up to date with all the latest updates. Software hardly ever gets released without a bug or two and drivers are well known for being some of the buggiest pieces of programming out there.

When I’m on my computer, the last thing I want to do is spend thirty minutes with a search engine trying to find the latest updates for each device my computer has. I’ve been so frustrated with the whole process I’ve almost come to accept that my computer isn’t running as well as it could be, and go about my day risking errors, sloppy game performance and so on.

However, I didn’t want to be defeated by a machine that’s supposed to do what I tell it to! I began searching for alternatives. Easier ways to keep my PC and it’s hardware drivers up to date. I stumbled across driver sites, solely dedicated to host drivers for all makes and models, but even then I found myself searching through pages and pages of different devices, operating system compatibility and so on. It wasn’t much better than just using a search engine.

That’s when I discovered driver updating software. With one click of a mouse, and one minute later I have a full list of all the devices that are out of date. With another click, I find the program downloading and installing all those devices without having to wade through forums and search engine results for the best drivers for my system.

After trying out some of the “big names” in driver software, I’ve learned what features to look for, and understand what makes one program worth the investment while others simply just aren’t good enough for the job.

Take some time, and think about if you’re ready to buy a commercial license for a scanner that is guaranteed to keep your system up to date. It might just be the best thing you’ve done for your computer!

Stop wasting time and energy FIXING your PC when you could be using it. Visit today for a free scan and learn the best way to update drivers in minutes.
