I have an NVIDIA GeForce 7150M / nForce 630M. My dxdiag tells me I have about 1GB of total memory, but there is no information on dedicated memory, which I have heard is far more important. Is there any way to find the dedicated memory for the card?

My laptop has a Nvidia GeForce 310M in it. It’s not a bad GPU because I’m able to play Crysis and GTA4 on med – high settings on highest resolution and it still plays smooth. I’m actually very impressed with the 310M. I was just wondering what desktop graphics card it compares to.
I was kind of thinking it compares to the Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce 9100 internal graphics card, and it crashes ALL THE TIME. It does it mainly when I am watching live tv through windows media center. I have tried a lot of different things including updating the drivers, stopping certain processes, and using windows update. If anyone is having the same problem as me (the dreaded blue screen reboot) please let me know if you have found anything to fix the problem. THANKS! PS I’m using windows 7…

I want somthing that will play sims 3. I’m getting a laptop and I was wondering which card to use. How big of a difference is there between the two?

512MB NVIDIA GeForce 9200M GS

I have a mobile Nvidia Geforce 9600M GT Graphics card and the official nvidia website stated that for this card, you can switch between integrated and discrete mode to save battery life or boost the performance. Well, the battery on my fairly new laptop lasts only an hour doing almost nothing and about 15 minutes playing a high end game. As you can see this is really bad and I would LOVE to switch between these two.

What is the difference between the two Nvidia GeForce 8500 GTs? One has 512 graphics memory and the other has 256 DDR2. What exactly is the difference and which is better?
I know about what the memory is I just down now which is better, seeing as though they both cost the same amount, I’m not sure if 512 or 256 DDR2 is better. Also I have no idea what a "mobo" is.
Nevermind on the MoBo thing I figured it out.

The only reason that this is a problem, is that it does not seem like the video card is really working, as my videos were still skipping. Yes, I installed the drivers, and the Nvidia settings thing is in the thing in the bottom left corner.

I boot up the computer, and the new hardware wizard comes up, and I do what it says, with the driver CD in the computer, and it still can’t find it.

I already uninstalled my other onboard video driver.
Stupid Microsoft.

I’m planning on getting a Nvidia GeForce card but I was wondering which one is the best out there to get like a 8800?? or a 9800 gt?
