I currently have the 512MB DDR 333 CL2.5 by Infineon and I want to upgrade my expansion memory(external slot) to 1G. Which memory card would I need to buy to work with my notebook?

I have a Toshiba Satellite U305-S5097 that I am currently upgrading the memory from 1G to 4G. I pruchased the new memory and installed them in the notebook. However, the notebook will only function if 1 of the memory modules is in the computer. With both memory modules installed correctly the computer will not power up. What is going on? I have already checked if it was a defective memory module, but it is not. Can someone please tell me what to do?

I got the GeForce 8400M GS graphics card with my notebook. It has 64 MB of dedicated memory. It has a lot of shared memory (767 MB). On some applications, when I try to use certain graphics features, I get an error message saying that I need more than 64 MB of video card memory to run the feature. Shouldn’t that shared memory kick in and save me from having this problem?

I use a static IP at home, but the network on campus won’t let me connect if my notebook is configured that way for their network. Is there a way (Vista Home) to configure network-specific IP settings?

My Epson 880 is a local printer connected to a Compaq computer shared on my home network. I have a new notebook running Windows Vista, wirelessly connected to the same network. When trying to access that shared printer, using Add Printer, I get this message: Access Denied. What are the steps to remedy this?
