My computer memory is split in to two drives on linux, How to utilize it?
I’m not very pro-efficient at using Linux yet. My laptop has 320GB of memory but on this partition I only have 90GB or less. How to open the other partition or make use of the rest of my memory?

How can I make programs use more RAM and less CPU?
A lot of the time when I play certain games, or sometimes even use big programs my CPU fan goes crazy (I’m on a laptop). The temperature goes up to 80 degrees Celsius, but my ram is only at 35% usage (out of 2gigs so about 700mb). So, how can I make programs generally use more RAM and less CPU, if possible?

How can I connect to my preferred wireless network?
I am on a laptop. It has always found the preferred wireless network, but now it won’t find it when you search for network connections. But, when you go under manage wireless networks it is under there. What can I do to get it to connect again? All of the desktop computers connect to it just fine. My laptop is only a couple of years old, and has windows vista if that matters any. Thanks for all the help!

How does a laptops RAM and CPU define how much save space you've actually used and have?
I found that, upon buying it and setting it up, my MacBook Pro has 4GB of memory. However when I check my disk usage it says that I have 224.53 GB of free space. Is this from the cpu? I don’t understand. I have far too much saved data on my laptop to believe that it is under 4GB so what’s going on? Please answer in detail, I’m a little slow to understand these things.
How can I tell if my new memory module is working?
I bought a new memory module for my ASUS K501J. It ran out of storage space and I needed to upgrade. I got my new module, I figured out how to get inside my laptop, found the memory module that was already in the laptop, removed it, and replaced it with my new one. But I don’t know how to tell if it’s working. Is it supposed to be automatic or is there more that I need to do?
