I was changing my settings for my new graphics card for maximum performance while I was really tired, and set the max cpu power devoted to aid my card to 100% (i know im dumb) And i cant remember how to fix it.
Oh also, it’s making my games and other applications run extremely slow, and games have become jumpy, it’s a nvidia card btw.

Is my cpu bottlenecking my laptop due to my graphics card?

Hello, I only have a 128MB graphics card, but there’s a game I want to play that needs 256MB. Can I let my video memory share from my RAM which is 2GB so that the game will run at a decent FPS?

I have 4 gigs of RAM and an integrated graphics card, which i’m assuming taps into the RAM when in needs to, it has 128mb dedicated but is it possible to allocate or rather "dedicate" more memory from the RAM to the integrated graphics card. And if so, how do i do that? I’m running Vista 64bit and my BIOS does not allow for me to change things like video memory. Is there some command line or command string i can use in the command prompt? Or some other magical way?

Hi, I’m thinking of getting a quad core 2.4 ghz intel q6600 cpu in my gaming pc, but I’d save lots more money If I went for something like a dual core 3.0 ghz or the like. Should I buy that and spend thesaved money on a better graphics card?

My laptop says it has up to 797mb of shared memory for the graphics card, how do I change the amount of memory it can use? or can I even do that? below is what it says
Total Available Graphics Memory: 797 MB
Dedicated Video Memory: 64MB
System Video Memory: 64 MB
Shared System Memory: 669 MB
I know quite a bit about computers… but vista stumps me.

I am buying a Sony Vaio CS series laptop and the only thing I haven’t upgraded is the graphics card, because there is no option to do so on the website. I was just wondering how much memory the standard graphics card that comes with Vaio laptops have. I assume it’s 512MB but I just want to make sure before I purchase the laptop.

I have a 128mb geforce 5500fx gfx card and was wondering if a better graphics card would help me more. I have a 2.10ghz amd 3000+ cpu
