I like to play games on my computer,but sometimes the gameplay gets kind of slow.I don’t know why.I think it’s because my computer needs more memory.If so,what can I do to get more memory on my computer without spending money.Un-installing games I don’t play maybe?

I was wanting to upgrade my computer with a new gfx card, sound card, and processor but I’m not to sure if by upgrading these components I would need to upgrade the motherboard to handle it. What exactly do I need to know when buying a motherboard?

Also, if anyone can suggest some good, cheap, components that would be great. I just want something that can handle games at normal quality and browse the web.

I only use my Dell for a few games and a few online downloads (plus WoW), and I have never defragged my pc before (we’ve had it for like half a dozen years or more). How long is this defragging gonna take?

Also, if you guys need more information to figure this out, tell em and I’ll re-ask the question! Sorry for being computer-ignorant =o

I am planning to upgrade my computer shortly and i want to know if games like GTA 4,Mass effect,crysis, NFS undercover etc will work better with Intel GMA 950 or NVIDIA Geoforce 7. The most important thing is will these kind of games even work with the intel GMA? And also can you tell tell me the price of NVIDIA?

Given equal amounts of video ram, can I play the same games with an ATI as an nvidia card?

what is the difference between a nvidia graphics card to a intel gma 950 graphics card? because in the bios you can increase the video memory to 128 or 256mb. does that mean all the games you can play in nvidia you could also play in intel gma?

I am getting a single 9600GT nVidia graphics card and my chipset is a 750i SLI from nVidia…will anything be affected with the single graphics card? Should I get a second one before I try any games? (My max game graphics that I have is Halo 2 and Sims 2 for quality) what do you suggest?

I’d like to make a server out of one of the computers in my house that other computers could connect to.
Not so much for transferring files like a workgroup, but more for 2 or more computers to be able to play games with eachother that require they be connected to the same server ip.
Another preference I have is that it would be implemented over a wireless network.

Any tips or places I can be directed towards for more info is appreciated.
