I’m planning on getting a laptop and right now I have 2 PCs side by side sharing internet through a router and an ethernet cable. There are still slots in the router so could I connect an ethernet cable with the router and the laptop? Or is there a more complicated process?

I only have one space to plug an Ethernet cable, but need to plug a second for my Xbox 360. What can I get that would let me use two cables?

Ideally I’d like the modem/router mounted on my board where the electric/cable/phone lines come in and then run ethernet from there. Can this be done without ripping too many walls out?
