How do you defrag never had this problem?
When I go to defrag it says Disk defrag has detected that Chkdsk is scheduled to run on the volume: (C:). Please run chkdsk /f. ok I have tried to do what others say by restarting and it doesnt run anything.Ive tried to scandisk but cant find where to do it?It didnt do this before wondering whats going on? I went to scheduled tasks and there arent any?help.
Is it better to defrag my computer using the default disk defragmenter, or the defrag on my antivirus software?
Should I use the ‘Disk Defragmenter’ that comes with Windows to defrag my computer, or use the defragmenter that comes with my antivirus software. Which is better? Thanks for the help!
What happens when you quit defrag halfway through?
Im running a disk defrag with defraggler in windows Vista. It is only 50% done and has been on for hours. I need to turn it off overnight because it is in my bedroom and its incredibly loud. If i turn it off, will it return to its previous state of fragmentation?
