And I need answers until tomorrow it’s urgent! Let me tell you how I done that thing: When I clicked disk defrag the PC, it shut down. I tried to open it several times but nothing… When I open the PC I can hear the fan only. Screen doesn’t open… By the way I have Windows Vista Home Premium if that helps…

Will the laptop turn on to defrag if its plugged in?

I just did a clean install of windows today and I put alot of favorites and stuff on my pc. I have very little memory at the moment. I’ll be adding some soon, but I was just looking around and decided to anylse my C drive. for defrag. It said that I should. Befor I do it should I run disk clean up? I want to conserve as much of my memory that I can.

I think i need to defrag my pc im not sure tho??? I own a Dell XPS and i was told to use the analyze function..??? I open Disk defrag and there isnt an analyze butoon?? PLZZZ Help the computer stupid folks… lol

I just got a new HP Elite ‘puter with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. In the programs, I cannot find such things as disk cleaner, disk defrag, notepad, and other things that were in system tools when I had XP. Where are they? Please keep in mind I’m no computer genius when you answer! LOL! Thanks.

I know bout task scheduler but the problem is, is that it wont start nor defrag. Help

I need to run disk defrag. Because I am constantly using safemode. So if I run it in safe mode, will my pc run smoother in normal mode afterwards?

Would like to have a portable app (run off flash drive) rather than an install, then uninstall for a single defrag. Do you have a program you would reccommend?
