My laptop has a 220 GB memory, and I only have 13.6 GB free! I just deleted a lot of stuff, and it barely increases the free space! On my control panel, it doesn’t seem like all that stuff would add up to that much! I am trying to delete stuff, but I don’t want to delete anything that I need! What stuff do I need for my laptop? I have a dell xps windows vista with word 2007. Thanks in advance!

I am planning to build a new computer but keeping the same HD, CD drive and cpu. Will my old cpu (Pentium D 2.8ghz duel core) in my dell xps 400 work with my new computer?

I think i need to defrag my pc im not sure tho??? I own a Dell XPS and i was told to use the analyze function..??? I open Disk defrag and there isnt an analyze butoon?? PLZZZ Help the computer stupid folks… lol

I am deciding between two laptops. I like them both very much but the graphics card vary on both.

1. Dell XPS M1710 with a Nvidia Geforce 7950 GTX
2. Hewlett Packard Pavilion Dv9590 with a Nvidia GeForce 8600M

I know that the 7950 is a much much better card but i am a very keen gamer and i want a card that will please me in the future too. The 8600 has DirectX10 but the 7950 doesn’t.

I really dont know what to go for, on one hand i dont want to be stuck with the 7950 that will play amazing now but nothing in the future due to no DX10 support. I know the 8600 is a good card now, but what will it be like in terms of DX10. If its only ‘good’ (rather than great) for DX9 will it be an average card supporting DX10?

I don’t understand how it works!

I can’t reinstall windows – error msg on blue screen says I haven’t terminated scsi devices. Does a Dell XPS have and "scsi device?" I’ve never done any modifications (never been "under the hood." As far as peripherals: nothing unordinary – external firewire drive, printer… that’s about it? How do I find this scsi device (that I didn’t even know I had), and then how do I "properly terminate" it? Please help!
