My Epson 880 is a local printer connected to a Compaq computer shared on my home network. I have a new notebook running Windows Vista, wirelessly connected to the same network. When trying to access that shared printer, using Add Printer, I get this message: Access Denied. What are the steps to remedy this?

Our teachers keep saying that they will know if we go onto facebook or other "illegal" pages. But are they actually able to find out without seeing or accessing the computer?
Can the network administrator access a log or something that is not stored on the computer?

I have been trying unsuccessfully to connect my computer to the shared network in order to view and use other people’s files. I can connect to the internet fine, but the shared file network, which everyone else is on fine, doesn’t work. My computer shows up as being on the network infrequently on other people’s computers but I cannot view any of the shared folders.

I just installed NetGear wireless router on my main desktop computer and made a new network. How do I connect this network to my laptop via wireless. My computer is a little older so it doesn’t pick it up whenever, it needs to be directed to this network.Please explain in great detail. Thanks.

I am trying to copy network connections, more precisely wireless connections from one computer to another. I l know about the file & settings transfer wizard but not sure if these settings will be transferred. Also, I now about the disk at the end of the network setup guide but being it is a neighbors computer I would rather not risk losing the one computer connected to the network and internet. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!

On the router I can’t find the wep key for a odd reason and another method is to save the network settings on a flash drive and connect that way. How do I recieve the network settings? Im using a computer already connected to the network so how do I recieve the settings?

My son and neighbors have some games that can be played multi player on networks. We both have DSL. I would like to be able to temporarily join networks, or have one computer there to be recognized and trusted on my network so the software thinks it is one network. Does this have the slightest chance of being done?
