How do I play around with php & MySQL?

With HTML, I can play around with it in notepad and upload to it my webhost and see what I’ve created, but what would the equivalent be with php and MySQL?

I’ve found this question asked twice before, but the answers provided to each instance have not worked for me personally.

After creating a ‘wireless network’ with the wizard, I can’t actually find any sign of the network anywhere on my computer, so I am unable to delete it. The lone exception to this, and the only reason I even know the network exists, is when I re-launch the WNSW, I am given the option of adding new computers or devices to said network that I’ve created. There is no icon for this wireless network in My Network Places & Network Connections, and I have no ‘wireless connections’ tab to check.

I have an Asus M2N32-SLI Deluxe, AMD AthlonX2 5200 & 3GB of Corsair DDR2 PC5400(675mhz) and I want to overclock; however, I’d like to know what kind of temperatures I should keep my cpu around as to not fry it. It currently runs 48degrees C.

If you come back to Windows will all your PHP & Mysql settings gone? Do you have to reinstall everything again if you decide to use a second time the Linux Live CD?? I don’t want to install Linux permanently o0n my sustem but I would like to work with the Lice CD without losing my work & setings. Is it possible?

I’d like to go develop some pictures today ,
But I do not own a flash drive anymore …
& I know theres a way to transfer pictures to a memory card

I’ve had my PC for 2 years approx NEVER been defragged (bad i know) I have a Intel Quadcore 2.83Ghz, 3.25gb Ram, the HD’s im defragging are one of 465gb (149gb free space) & one of 683gb (519GB free space)

Would I be best to defrag overnight?

I have a MYSQL database and I want to bring data in from my table and display it on the same form that I have the user for input from. How can do this via PHP & HTML? Thanks

I share 1 home desktop computer with a couple of my roommates. But my roommates tend to leave the computer running all night, and never bother to turn off the pc & monitor. In result, I suffer the consequence of paying a higher electricity bill due to my roommate’s inability to turn off the computer when not been used. What’s a good software program someone can recommend me to that can shutdown the pc & monitor when the cpu is idle?
