How to get a GUI on ubuntu server version without internet?

I’ve installed ubuntu server edition but i cant get a GUI for it. I’m not able to connect to internet on the server, however, I do got internet on my laptop. So what I am thinking is if I could download the GUI file and manually install it via CD on the server? Please, any tips?
