How do I hook up ethernet cable from the ps3 and computer if their far apart?
My tv and ps3 are connected just fine, but my ethernet cable isn’t long enough, don’t tell me to buy a new one, I just want to know how to connect them if they are a few meters apart.

Umm.. if a cable isn’t long enough you either have to move the device closer, or buy a longer cable. There is no magical trick to make a cable reach longer. Common sense.
You could utilize a wireless router, etc. However, if you are having problems with cable logic, I recommend you stick with the wired route.
On a serious note, your speeds will remain fastest using cables.
And, just move your PS3 closer, or buy another cable. There is no alternative. Really.
A cable will cost anywhere from $5 to $25, depending on quality, length, and where you buy it. Walmart will do just fine if you can find one there,.. expect Bestbuy and such to be more expensive.
Doesn’t your ps3 have wireless capability?
That is the route I would take.
